Library Card Application

Ready to Get Started? Fill out the application below! Applications are reviewed by one of our staff members periodically between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If you submit a request after 4:00 pm, you may receive it the next day.

Currently this application is only available to residents of Hamilton Township or those who work or attend school in Hamilton Township. All others must visit the Hamilton Township Public Library in person with the required documents. For more information on eligibility check Chapter III of our Library Policies.

After submitting this application, a staff member will review it and notify you of approval or denial by email. If approved you’ll receive a library barcode and password via email. This temporary barcode is valid for 30 days. To get your physical card, visit the Hamilton Township Public Library within these 30 days, bringing a valid ID and any required documentation to verify your student or work status.
