If you live, go to school or work in Hamilton, you are entitled to a free library card. You may apply for a card by showing photo ID and proof of Hamilton residency. If you work in the Township, you must bring a pay stub or some other proof of employment. For more information, please follow the link and scroll to Chapter III of our Library Policies.
Use the Library from Home
We invite you to visit the Library at www.hamiltonnjpl.org from anywhere that you use the Internet. You can check the catalog, use the online databases, renew or request a book, ask a reference question or make a museum pass reservation.
The Library collection begins with books and magazines to read but it includes much more.

- Close to 300 magazine subscriptions
RESERVES AND RENEWALS
If what you want is checked out, we can reserve it for you. You can also place reserves online through our website, or by phone. You can renew the items you have borrowed in person, by phone or online.
