Hamilton Township Public Library Summer Reading

This year’s theme is Unearth a Story. We invite readers of all ages to dig into great books and uncover the stories, histories, and discoveries buried within. The program runs from:

June 22nd to August 15th, 2026

and it is for all ages! We have three programs, separated by age group: Children, Teen, and Adult. You may register at any point throughout the Summer Reading Program, but the deadline to log your completed books is Saturday, August 15th

Children

The Children’s Summer Reading Program is for ages infant to 11 years old.

  1. Register in person at the library and pick-up a summer reading log.
  2. Track the number of minutes read.
  3. Check-in for prizes every two weeks.
  4. Spin the wheel for a prize every time you visit.

Teens

The Teen Summer Reading Program for ages 12 to 18/students entering sixth grade through recently graduated high school students.

  • Register in person (and get a folder with log sheets, activities, and important information about summer programs) or online between June 15th and August 8th.
  • Track how much time you spend reading. Wondering if what or how you’re reading counts? It probably does.
  • Check-in at the library or online anytime between June 22nd and August 15th.
  • Earn raffle tickets by checking in, registering for and attending programs, volunteering, turning in other activity sheets, and more!

Adults

New!  Adult Summer Reading Program is for adults age 18 and up.

  1. Pick up a registration form or use our Google Form online to register.  
  2. All participants are entered in the Grand Prize drawing.
  3. Get a reading log, bingo sheet, and keep track of your activities.  Return to the Reference desk to get a raffle ticket for one of several prizes.
